GOD OFFERS FORGIVENESS OF SIN

GOD IS HOLY:  BE YE HOLY!

1 Peter 1:15-16 - "But as He Who called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; because it is written, Be ye holy; for I AM holy."

ASK GOD FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF YOUR SINS!

Matthew 6:9, 12 - "Our Father...forgive us our debts...."  [Note:  "debts" here is from the Greek ὀφείλημα (opheilēma), which means "that which is owed; that which is justly or legally due, a debt; an offence:  sin!"]

GOD CANNOT REMAIN JUST IF HE SIMPLY FORGIVES US!

Ezekiel 18:20 - "The soul that sinneth, it shall die...."

Romans 6:23 - "For the wages of sin is death...."

GOOD NEWS!  GOD HAS PAID FOR OUR SIN!

Acts 5:30-31 - "The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, Whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.  Him hath God exalted with His right hand to be a Prince and a Savior, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins."

Acts 13:37-39 - "But He, Whom God raised again, saw no corruption.  Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through This Man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:  and by Him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the Law of Moses."

2 Corinthians 5:18-21 - "And all things are of God, Who hath reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; to wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the Word of Reconciliation.  Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us:  we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.  For He hath made Him to be sin for us, Who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him."

Ephesians 1:7 - "In Whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace."

Ephesians 4:32 - "And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you."

Colossians 1:12-14 - "Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:  Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son:  in Whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins."

1 John 2:12 - "I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for His name's sake."
