GOD OFFERS TO ADOPT US AS HIS CHILDREN!
John 1:1-3, 10-14 - "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He* was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made....He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not. He came unto His own, and His own received Him not. But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the children** of God, even to them that believe on His name: which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the Only Begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth."
Romans 8:14-15, 23 - "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the children** of God....For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father....And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body."
Philippians 2:15 - "That ye may be blameless and harmless, the children** of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world."
1 John 3:1-2 - "Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the children** of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew Him not. Beloved, now are we the children** of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is."
TRUE CHRISTIANITY IS NOT A RELIGION; IT IS A RELATIONSHIP!
