THE FINAL JUDGMENT OF MANKIND!
THESE VERSES ARE WRITTEN AS I UNDERSTAND THE SCRIPTURE.
Revelation 20:11-15 - And I saw a great white throne, and Him Who sat on it, from Whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the Book of Life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to his works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.
[Note: I believe "the books" contain a record of every sin ever committed by mankind. And, according to "the books," every soul, being a sinner, deserves to die for their sin (see Rom. 6:23). However, notice it is not what is written in "the books" that sentences a person to the Lake of Fire, but it is the fact that his or her name is missing from the Book of Life. It is my view that the Book of Life lists all those who accepted Christ's substitutionary sacrifice on the cross for him or her. Those who rejected Christ's "payment-in-full" for their sin, will spend eternity apart from the God Who loved them enough to die for them!]
JESUS DIED FOR ALL BUT ONE SIN:
THE REJECTION OF THE HOLY SPIRIT'S WITNESS
AS TO THE HIS IDENTITY!
Matthew 12:28-32 - Jesus said . . . if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you. Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? a And then he will spoil his house. He that is not with Me is against Me; and he that gathers not with Me scatters abroad. Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaks a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaks against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
JESUS PAID FOR EVERY OTHER SIN MANKIND EVER COMMITTED!
John 1:29 - The next day John saw Jesus coming unto him, and he said to those who had come to him to be baptized, Behold the Lamb of God, Who takes away the sins of the world.
John 3:16-17 - For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.
2 Corinthians 5:14-15 - For the love of Christ constrains us; because we understand that if One died for all, then were all dead: and that He died for all, that those who live should no longer live unto themselves, but unto Him Who died for them, and rose again.
1 Timothy 2:3-6 - For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; Who desires all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave Himself as a ransom for all, to be revealed in due time.
Hebrews 10:8-10 - Above when He said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin You did not want, neither did You have pleasure in them; which are offered by the Law; Then He said, Lo, I come to do Your will, O God. He took away the first, that He might establish the second. By Whose will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
2 Peter 3:9 - The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is long-suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
1 John 2:1-2 - My little children, these things write I unto you, do that you will no longer sin. And if any of you sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: and He is the Propitiation (by His death, He paid-in-full the debt we owed for our sin; the payment or "wages" due as a result of sin is death - Rom. 6:23) for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
THE SPIRIT OF GOD SHINES HIS LIGHT ON JESUS:
HIS DEATH FOR SINS, HIS BURIAL, AND
HIS RESURRECTION FROM THE DEAD!
BY HIS TESTIMONY, WE RECEIVE THE GOSPEL,
WHICH HAS THE POWER TO SAVE US ALL!
DO YOU BELIEVE JESUS PAID FOR YOUR SINS?
IF SO, HE DESERVES TO BE LORD OF YOUR LIFE!
