BECOMING LIKE GOD!

ADAM AND EVE WERE CREATED TO BE LIKE JESUS!

Genesis 1:26-27, 31 - And God said, Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness:  and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.  So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them. - - - And God saw everything that He had made, and, behold, it was very good.

Genesis 5:1-2 - This is the book of the generations of Adam.  In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made He him; male and female created He them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.

GOD KNOWS US EVEN BEFORE WE ARE CONCEIVED!

Psalm 139:13-14 - For You have possessed my reins (owned my heart):  You have covered me in my mother's womb.  I will praise You; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made:  marvelous are Your works; and that my soul knows right well.

Jeremiah 1:4-5 - Then the Word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Before I formed you in the belly I knew you; and before you came forth out of the womb I sanctified you, and I ordained you a prophet unto the nations.

Luke 1:41-44 - And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost:  and she spoke out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb.  And whence is this to me (why have I been so honored), that the mother of my Lord should come to me?  For, lo, as soon as the voice of your salutation sounded in my ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.

Romans 8:28-31 - And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.  For those whom He foreknew, He also did predestine to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.  Moreover those whom He did predestine, he also called:  and those whom He called, those He also justified:  and those whom He justified, those He also glorified.  What shall we then say to these things?  If God is for us, who can be against (who can defeat) us?

GOD TRANSFORMS BELIEVERS INTO HIS CHILDREN!

Philippians 1:3-6 - I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy, for your fellowship in the Gospel from the first day until now; being confident of this very thing, that He Who has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

1 John 3:1-2 - Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the children of God:  therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.  Beloved, now are we the children of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be:  but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is.  

DO YOU BELIEVE JESUS DIED FOR YOUR SINS?

DO YOU BELIEVE HE ROSE FROM THE DEAD?

DO YOU ACCEPT HIM AS LORD AND SAVIOR?

IF SO, YOU WILL ONE DAY BE LIKE HIM!
