GENUINE BELIEVERS OUGHT TO LOVE EVEN THEIR ENEMIES!

JESUS GAVE HIS LIFE TO PAY FOR THE SINS OF THE WORLD!

1 Corinthians 15:1-6 - Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel which I preached unto you, which also you have received, and wherein you stand; by which also you are saved - - - For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures:  and that He was seen of Cephas (by Peter), then of the twelve (by the twelve):  after that, He was seen of above (by more than) five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep (some have died).

Galatians 1:1-5 - Paul, an apostle, not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, Who raised Him from the dead; and all the brethren who are with me, unto the churches of Galatia:  Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, Who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:  to Whom be glory forever and ever.  Amen.

BELIEVING HE DIED FOR ME OUGHT TO MOTIVATE ME!

1 John 2:1-6 - My little children, these things write I unto you, that you sin not.  And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:  and He is the propitiation for our sins (His death satisfied the Law that sentences sinners to death; "the wages of sin is death" - Rom. 6:23):  and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.  And hereby we do know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments (love God and love your neighbor - Mt. 22:37-40).  He that says, I know Him, and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.  But whosoever keeps His Word, in him verily is the love of God perfected:  hereby know we that we are in Him.  He that says he abides in Him ought to walk, even as He walked.

1 John 4:9-15 - In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent His Only Begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.  Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins (His death satisfied the Law that sentences sinners to death; "the wages of sin is death" - Rom. 6:23).  Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.  No man has seen God at any time.  If we love one another, God dwells in us, and His love is perfected in us.  Hereby know we that we dwell in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.  And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Savior of the world.  Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwells in him, and he in God.

YOUR LOVE FOR GOD IS SEEN IN 

YOUR LOVE FOR OTHERS!
