THE FEAST OF TRUMPETS!

Leviticus 23:24 - Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall you have a Sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation.

OTHER  PURPOSES FOR BLOWING THE TRUMPETS!

Numbers 10:2, 9-10 - Make two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece shall you make them: that you may use them for the calling of the assembly, and for the journeying of the camps. - - - And if you go to war in your land against the enemy that oppresses you, then you shall blow an alarm with the trumpets; and you shall be remembered before the LORD your God, and you shall be saved from your enemies.  Also in the day of your gladness, and in your solemn days, and in the beginnings of your months, you shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; that they may be to you for a memorial before your God: I AM the LORD your God.

[Note:  Because the first four Feasts of the Lord were literally fulfilled in association with Christ's First Coming (Passover - Christ is our Passover Lamb - Jn. 1:29, 36; 1 Cor. 5:7); (Unleavened Bread - Jesus is The Sinless Bread of Life - Jn. 6:48; 2 Cor. 5:21; Heb. 4:15); (First Fruits - Jesus was the first to be resurrected -  Mt. 27:52-53; 1 Cor. 15:20, 23); and Pentecost - the birth of the Church - Acts 2:1-47); there is little doubt that the last three Feasts of the Lord will be literally fulfilled as well!]

FUTURE EVENTS THAT COULD LIKELY FULFILL THE FEAST OF TRUMPETS!

[Note:  Because the word "Trumpets" is plural, and because Israel was to make two trumpets of silver that would be used to direct them (See Num. 10 above), I believe that the two events which occur in close proximity to one another, will be the fulfillment of this Feast.  They are the removal of genuine Christian believers via the "Rapture," and the regathering of Jews in the land of Israel.  With the Antichrist's confirmation of the Abrahamic Covenant, Jews will return to their God-given homeland believing the Antichrist is their Messiah!]

ONE TRUMPET:  THE RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH!

John 14:1-3 - Let not your heart be troubled:  you believe in God, believe also in Me.  In My Father's house are many mansions:  if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I AM, there you may be also.

1 Corinthians 15:50-54 - Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption.  Behold, I show you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump (that the Church hears); for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.  For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.  So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 - But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have died, that you sorrow not, even as others who have no hope.  For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so those who have died believing in Jesus, will God bring with Him.  For this we say unto you by the Word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not rise before those who have died.  For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:  and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Therefore comfort one another with these words.

Revelation 4:1 - After this I (the Apostle John) looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven:  and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up here, and I will show you things which must be hereafter.

[Note:  This verse follows the two previous chapters which are directed at the Church.  Because the Church is not mentioned in the chapters which address the Tribulation (6 - 18), Christ's Second Coming (19), and Christ's Millennial Kingdom (20), I believe John being called up to be with Christ in heaven, is a picture of the Rapture of the Church.]

ONE TRUMPET:  THE RETURN OF ISRAEL TO THE PROMISED LAND!

Isaiah 43:5-6 - Fear not: for I AM with you: I will bring your seed from the east, and gather you from the west; I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back:  bring My sons from far, and My daughters from the ends of the earth.

Ezekiel 20:34 - And I will bring you out from the people, and will gather you out of the countries wherein you are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out.

Daniel 9:27 - And he (Antichrist) shall confirm the covenant with many for one week:  and in the midst of the week (at 1260 days; 42 months; a time, times, and a half time) he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Hosea 3:4-5 - For the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and without teraphim:  afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall fear the LORD and His goodness in the latter days.

Romans 11:25-27 - For I would not, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in.  And so all Israel shall be saved:  as it is written, There shall come out of Zion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob (the twelve tribes of Israel):  For this is My covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

REGARDLESS OF WHETHER OR NOT THE PLURAL TRUMPETS SIGNAL THE END OF THE CHURCH AGE AND THE BEGINNING OF THE SEVEN-YEAR TRIBULATION OF ISRAEL, THESE TWO EVENTS ARE GOING TO OCCUR!  BASED UPON THE ANARCHY AND CHAOS THAT DESCRIBE SOCIETY TODAY, MUCH LIKE THE DAYS OF NOAH AND LOT, THEY CANNOT BE VERY FAR AWAY!  

TRUST IN JESUS WHILE YOU STILL CAN!
