THE UNIVERSAL NATURE OF SIN!

Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

Romans 5:12 - Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for all have sinned.

THE VERDICT OF GOD FOR SIN IS DEATH!

Ezekiel 18:4 - Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine:  the soul that sins, it shall die.
Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death . . . .

GOD'S SON DIED TO PAY FOR OUR SINS!

Romans 5:6, 8 - For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. - - -  But God commendeth (demonstrated) His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

1 Corinthians 15:3-4 - For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.

2 Corinthians 5:14-15 - For the love of Christ constrains us; because we thus judge, that if One died for all, then were all dead:  and that He died for all, that those who live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto Him Who died for them, and rose again.

1 Thessalonians 5:9-10 - For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.

SO WHAT MUST WE DO TO BE SAVED?

John 3:14-15 - And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:  that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.

Acts 16:30-31 - And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?  And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved. . . . 

Romans 10:9-13 - That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.  For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  For the Scripture says, Whosoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed.  For there is no difference between the Jew and the Gentile:  for the same Lord over all is rich unto all who call upon Him.  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

1 Peter 1:18-21 - Forasmuch as you know that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation (religious life-style) received by tradition from your fathers; but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:  Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, who by Him do believe in God, Who raised Him up from the dead, and gave Him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
