THE GOSPEL:  

THE MESSAGE THAT SAVES BELIEVERS!

[The Holy Scriptures as I understand them.]

Romans 1:15-16 - (The Apostle Paul wrote) . . . I am ready to preach the Gospel to you who are in Rome also.  For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ:  for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile.  

1 Corinthians 15:1-6 - Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel which I preached unto you, which also you have received, and wherein you stand; by which also you are saved . . . For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures:  and that He was seen (alive after His Resurrection) by Peter, then by the twelve:  after that, He was seen by more than five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present time, but some have since died.

Romans 16:24-27 - The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.  Amen.  Now to Him Who has the power to establish you according to the Gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, but now is made manifest, and by the Scriptures of the Prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:  to the only wise God, be glory through Jesus Christ forever.  Amen.

SALVATION:  

A FREE GIFT TO ALL WHO BELIEVE THE GOSPEL!

Romans 5:6-10, 17 - For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. . . . God demonstrated His love for us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.  Much more then, being now cleansed of sin by His blood, we shall be saved from the coming wrath of God through faith in Him.  For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. . . . For if through the offence of one man, Adam, mankind is spiritually dead, much more the grace (unearned favor) of God, and the free gift of salvation that is by His grace through faith in One Man, Jesus Christ, has been offered to all . . . . For if by one man's offence death reigned upon all; much more then shall we who receive God's grace by faith in Jesus Christ have His righteousness imputed to us, and with it, eternal life!

Ephesians 2:4-9 - God, Who is rich in mercy, for His great love wherewith He loved us, even when we were dead in sins, has made us alive together with Christ,  and has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:  that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding richness of His grace in His kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.  For it is by grace that you are saved through faith; and even that, our faith, is not of ourselves:  it is the gift of God:  not of works, so that no man can boast.

WARNING:

REJECTING THE GOSPEL 

HAS ETERNAL CONSEQUENCES!

John 3:17-18 - For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.  He that believes on Him is not condemned:  but he that refuses to believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the Only Begotten Son of God.

John 8:24 - I said therefore unto you, that you shall die in your sins:  for if you do not believe that I AM, you shall die in your sins.

Romans 1:32; 2:2 - Who knowing the judgment of God, that those who commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in others who do them. . . . But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who commit such things.

Romans 6:23 - The wages (that which is earned) of sin is death!

Hebrews 9:27 - It is appointed unto men once to die, but after that the judgment!

Revelation 20:10, 14-15 - And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever. . . . And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire.  This is the second death.  And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

RECEIVE JESUS AND BE SAVED;

REJECT JESUS AND SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES!
