SALVATION IS A GIFT FROM GOD;

IT IS NOT OF WORKS, NOR IS IT

THE END OF GOD'S WILL FOR US!

Matthew 5:16 - Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father Who is in heaven.  [Note that the works which glorify God are done by His children; they are already saved!]

Matthew 7:20-21 - Wherefore by their fruits (good works) you shall know them.  Not every one that says unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of My Father Who is in heaven.  [Note that genuine believers produce evidence that verifies their faith; they produce fruit!] 

Galatians 5:22-23 - But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance:  against such there is no law.

Acts 26:20 - But (I, Paul,) showed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for (suitable for; which give evidence of) repentance.

James 2:17-18 - Even so faith, if it has not works, is dead, being alone.  Yes, a man may say, You have faith, and I have works:  show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.

Ephesians 2:8-10 - For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:  it is the gift of God:  not of works, lest any man should boast.  For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them.

1 Timothy 6:17-18 - Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not high-minded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy; that they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate (share)….

2 Timothy 1:9 - Who has saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began....

2 Timothy 3:16-17 - All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:  that the man (child) of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Titus 2:13-14 - Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ; Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Titus 3:5 - Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us....

Hebrews 10:24 - And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works.

1 Peter 2:12 - Having your conversation (manner of life) honest among the Gentiles:  that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

IF JESUS IS LORD, AND HE CERTAINLY IS,

WE ARE TO BE HIS FAITHFUL SERVANTS!
