THE JESUS OF THE BIBLE IS GOD!

JESUS KNEW THAT ALL WORSHIP BELONGS TO GOD ALONE!

Matthew 4:10 - Then said Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan:  for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shalt thou serve.

Luke 4:8 - And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind Me, Satan:  for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shalt thou serve.

AND YET, THOSE WHO WORSHIPPED JESUS WERE NOT REBUKED!

Matthew 2:1-2, 7-8, 11 - Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, saying, Where is He that is born King of the Jews?  For we have seen His star in the east, and are come to worship Him - - - Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, inquired of them diligently what time the star appeared.  And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found Him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship Him also - - - And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary His mother, and fell down, and worshipped Him:  and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto Him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.

Matthew 8:2-3 - And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped Him, saying, Lord, if Thou wilt, Thou canst make me clean.  And Jesus put forth His hand, and touched Him, saying, I will; be thou clean.  And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

Matthew 9:18-19 - While He spoke these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped Him, saying, My daughter is even now dead:  but come and lay Thy hand upon her, and she shall live.  And Jesus arose, and followed him, and so did His disciples.

Matthew 14:33 - Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped Him, saying, Of a truth Thou art the Son of God.

Matthew 15:25 - Then came she and worshipped Him, saying, Lord, help me.

Matthew 20:20 - Then came to Him the mother of Zebedee's children with her sons, worshipping Him, and desiring a certain thing of Him.

Matthew 28:9, 16-17 - And as they went to tell His disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail.  And they came and held Him by the feet, and worshipped Him - - - Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.  And when they saw Him, they worshipped Him:  but some doubted.

John 9:35-38 - Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when He had found him, He said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God?  He answered and said, Who is He, Lord, that I might believe on Him?  And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen Him, and it is He that talketh with thee.  And he said, Lord, I believe.  And he worshipped him.

John 20:28-29 - And Thomas answered and said unto Him, My Lord and my God.  Jesus said unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen Me, thou hast believed:  blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

OTHERS REBUKED THOSE WHO WORSHIPPED THEM!

Acts 10:25-26 - And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him.  But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man.

Acts 14:11, 15 - And when the people saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices, saying in the speech of Lycaonia, The gods are come down to us in the likeness of men - - - And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things?  We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein

Revelation 19:10 - And I fell at his feet to worship him.  And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellow-servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus:  worship God:  for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

Revelation 22:8-9 - And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which showed me these things.  Then said he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellow-servant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book:  worship God.

WHY DID JESUS ALLOW HIMSELF TO BE WORSHIPPED?  HE IS GOD!

John 1:1, 14 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God - - - And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the Only Begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

John 5:22-23 - For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:  that all men should honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He that honoreth not the Son honoreth not the Father Who hath sent Him.

Philippians 2:5-11 - Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:  Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:  but made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:  and being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.  Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name:  that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

1 Timothy 3:16 - And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:  God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

Hebrews 1:3 - Who being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the Word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.

UNLIKE THE JESUS OF THE CULTS,

AND OF FALSE RELIGIONS,

THE JESUS OF THE BIBLE IS GOD!
