THE HEALING OF PHYSICAL BLINDNESS!
John 9:1-7 - And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man who was blind from his birth. . . . He (Jesus) spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and He anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay, and said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, which is by interpretation, "Sent." He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing.
John 9:8-11 - The neighbors therefore, and they which before had seen him that he was blind, said . . . How were your eyes opened? He answered and said, A man that is called Jesus made clay, and anointed my eyes, and said unto me, Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash: and I went and washed, and I received sight.
John 9;13-17 - They (his neighbors) brought to the Pharisees him that was blind. . . . again the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. He said unto them, He put clay upon mine eyes, and I washed, and do see. . . . They said unto the blind man again, What do you say of Him, that He has opened your eyes? He said, He is a prophet.
John 9:28-33 - Then they (the Pharisees) reviled him, and said, You are His disciple; but we are Moses' disciples. We know that God spoke unto Moses: as for this fellow, we know not from where He is. The man answered and said unto them, Why herein is a marvellous thing, that you know not from where He is, and yet He has opened my eyes. . . . Since the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind. If this man were not of God (if He were not a man of God), He could do nothing.
THE HEALING OF SPIRITUAL BLINDNESS!
John 9:34-38 - They (the Pharisees) answered and said unto him, You were altogether born in sins, and do you teach us? And they cast him out. Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when He had found him, He said unto him, Do you believe on the Son of God? He answered and said, Who is He, Lord, that I might believe on Him? And Jesus said unto him, You have both seen Him, and it is He that talks with you. And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped Him.
NOTICE A BORN AGAIN BELIEVER WILL
PUBLICLY CONFESS HIS FAITH IN JESUS!
Romans 9:33; 10:9-13 (according to my understanding):
As it is written, Behold, I lay in Zion a Stumbling Stone and Rock of Offence: and whosoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. - - - If you shall confess your faith in the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes and is declared by God that he is righteous (see 2 Corinthians 5:21); and with the mouth confession is made of his salvation. For the Scripture says, Whosoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Gentile (non-Jew): for the same Lord over all is rich (in mercy and grace) unto all who call upon Him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
