WHAT MUST WE DO TO BE SAVED: HAVE FAITH!

FAITH:  THE RESULT OF BELIEVING GOD'S WORD!

Habakkuk 2:4 - . . . the just shall live by his faith.

Acts 20:20-21 - And how I (Paul) kept back nothing that was profitable unto you . . . Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks (Gentiles; non-Jews), repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 1:16-17 - For I (Paul) am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ:  for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek (Gentile; non-Jew).  For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith:  as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Romans 3:21-23 - But now the righteousness of God without (apart from) the Law is manifested . . . even the righteousness of God which is by faith in Jesus Christ unto all and upon all those who believe:  for there is no difference:  for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God....

Romans 4:5 - But to him who does not work, but believes in Him Who justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

Romans 5:1-2 - Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:  by Whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Romans 10:17 - So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.

Galatians 2:16 - Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the Law, but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the Law:  for by the works of the Law shall no flesh be justified.

Galatians 3:11, 26 - But that no man is justified by the Law in the sight of God, it is evident:  for, The just shall live by faith. . . . For you are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 2:8-9 - For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:  it is the gift of God:  not of works, lest any man should boast.

Philippians 3:9 - And be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is of the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith....

Hebrews 11:1 - Now faith is the substance (the reality) of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.  [Note:  Hebrews Chapter Eleven is known as the Faith Chapter.]

1 Peter 1:3-5 - Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fades not away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

1 John 5:4 - For whosoever is born of God overcomes the world:  and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.

ADAM SINNED BY FAILING TO HAVE FAITH IN GOD'S WORD!

IRONICALLY, SINNERS ARE SAVED BY HAVING FAITH IN GOD'S WORD!
