BEING BORN AGAIN:
BECOMING A CHILD OF GOD!
John 1:10-14 - He (Jesus) was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not. He came unto His own (the Jewish people), and His own received him not (rejected Him). But as many as received Him, to them gave He power* to become the sons (children) of God, even to those who believe on His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but (were born) of God. And the Word (Jesus) was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the Only Begotten (Son) of the Father, full of grace and truth.
* Note: Here, "power" is from the Greek exousia, meaning "the authority or right to choose," see Hebrews 13:10; Revelation 22:14.
BEING BORN AGAIN:
THE KEY TO GOD'S KINGDOM!
John 3:1-8 - There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto Him, Rabbi (honorable teacher), we know that You are a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that You do, except God be with Him (You). Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus said unto Him, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a man be born of water (from the womb; physical birth) and of the Spirit (spiritual birth), he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto you, You must be born again. The wind blows where it listeth (chooses), and you hear the sound thereof, but can not tell whence (from where) it comes, and whither (where) it goes: so is every one who is born of the Spirit.
BEING BORN AGAIN:
BY BELIEVING THE GOSPEL!
1 Peter 1:18-23 - Forasmuch as you know that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation (way of life) received by tradition from your fathers; but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, who by Him do believe in God, that raised Him up from the dead, and gave Him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God. Seeing you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that you love one another with a pure heart fervently: being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the Word of God, which lives and abides forever. For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower thereof falls away: but the Word of the Lord endures forever. And this is the Word which by the Gospel is preached unto you.
THE GOSPEL:
THE POWER OF GOD TO SAVE!
Romans 1:16 - For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek (Gentile; non-Jew).
1 Corinthians 15:1-6 - Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel which I preached unto you, which also you have received, and wherein you stand; by which also you are saved . . . For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures: and that He was seen of Cephas (by Peter), then of (by) "the twelve" (eleven remaining disciples): after that, He was seen of above (by more than) five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain (alive) unto this present, but some are fallen asleep (some have died).
BELIEVE IT OR NOT:
THIS SAME JESUS IS ABOUT TO RETURN
FOR HIS BORN AGAIN BELIEVERS!
