THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD!

JOHN'S JOB:  CONVINCE THE WORLD THAT JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD!

John 20:30-31 - And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book:  but these are written, that you might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you might have life through His name.

John 1:32-34 - And John (the Baptist) bore record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon Him (Jesus).  And I knew Him not:  but He (the Father) Who sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me,  Upon Whom you shall see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, the same is He Who baptizes with the Holy Ghost.  And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.

John 1:49-50 - Nathanael answered and said unto Him (Jesus), Rabbi, You are the Son of God; You are the King of Israel.   Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said unto you, I saw you under the fig tree, you believe?  You shall see greater things than these.

John 3:16-18 - For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.  He that believes in Him is not condemned:  but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the Only Begotten Son of God.

John 9:35-38 - Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when He had found him, He said unto him, Do you believe in the Son of God?  He answered and said, Who is He, Lord, that I might believe in Him?  And Jesus said unto him, You have both seen Him, and it is He Who talks with you.  And he said, Lord, I believe.  And he worshipped Him.

John 10:36 - Say you of Him, Whom the Father has sanctified, and sent into the world You blaspheme; because I said, I am the Son of God?

John 11:25-27 - Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believes in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:  And whosoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?  She said unto Him, Yes, Lord:  I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, Who should come into the world.

John 19:5-7 - Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe.  And Pilate said unto them, Behold the man!  When the chief priests therefore and officers saw Him, they cried out, saying, Crucify Him, crucify Him. Pilate said unto them,  Take Him, and crucify Him:  for I find no fault in Him.  The Jews answered him, We have a law, and by our law He ought to die, because He made Himself the Son of God.

1 John 3:8 - He that commits sin is of the devil; for the devil sinned from the beginning.  For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

1 John 4:15 -  Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwells in him, and he in God.

1 John 5:5, 10, 12-13, 20 - Who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believes that Jesus is the Son of God? - - - He that believes on the Son of God has the witness in himself:  he that believes not God has made Him a liar; because he believes not the record that God gave of His Son. - - - He that has the Son has life; and he that has not the Son of God has not life.  These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may (continue to) believe on the name of the Son of God. - - - And we know that the Son of God is come, and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him that is true, and we are in Him that is true, even in His Son Jesus Christ.  This is the true God, and eternal life.

Revelation 2:18 - And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things says the Son of God, Who has His eyes like unto a flame of fire, and His feet are like fine brass....
