ALL OF US NEED A SAVIOR!
Ezekiel 33:13 - When I shall say to the righteous (the perfect man, if there was such a person), that he shall surely live; (but) if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity (and he surely will), all his righteousness shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he has committed, he shall die for it.
Romans 3:9-11, 23 - What then? Are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin; as it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: there is none that understands, there is none that seeks after God. - - - For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.
Galatians 3:22 - But the Scripture has concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
James 2:8-10 - If ye fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself, ye do well: but if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced (convicted) of the law as transgressors. For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
GOD PROVIDED HIS SON TO BE OUR SAVIOR!
Genesis 22:8 - And Abraham said, My son, God will provide Himself a Lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.
John 1:29 - The next day John saw Jesus coming unto him, and said, Behold the Lamb of God, Who takes away the sin of the world.
John 3:16-17 - For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.
Romans 5:6-9 - For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commended (demonstrated) His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.
2 Corinthians 5:21 - For He (God) has made Him (Jesus) to be sin for us, Who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.
SO THEN, WHAT MUST WE DO TO BE SAVED?
Acts 16:30-32 - And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? They said, BELIEVE on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved....
Romans 1:16 - For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that BELIEVES; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek (Gentile).
Romans 3:21-22 - But now the righteousness of God without (apart from) the Law is manifested, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets; even the righteousness of God which is by faith in Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that BELIEVE: for there is no difference.
Romans 4:21-25 - And (Abraham) being fully persuaded that, what God had promised, He was able also to perform. And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness. Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; but for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we BELIEVE on Him Who raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.
Romans 10:8-11 - But what (does it say)...the Word of faith, which we preach; (it says) that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt BELIEVE in thine heart that God has raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man BELIEVES unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession (of having faith in the Lord Jesus) is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, Whosoever BELIEVES on Him shall not be ashamed.
Galatians 2:16 - Knowing that a man is not justified (made righteous) by the works of the Law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have BELIEVED in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the Law: for by the works of the Law shall no flesh be justified.
HAVING BELIEVED, HOW SHALL WE THEN LIVE?
2 Corinthians 5:20-21 - Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. For He has made Him to be sin for us, Who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.
Ephesians 1:12-13 - That we should be to the praise of His glory, who first TRUSTED in Christ. In Whom ye also TRUSTED, after that ye heard the Word of Truth, the Gospel of your salvation: in Whom also after that ye BELIEVED, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise....
