BELIEVERS DO NOT HOPE SO; WE KNOW SO!
Psalm 39:7 - And now, Lord, what wait I for? My hope is in Thee.
Psalm 71:5 - For Thou art my hope, O Lord GOD: Thou art my trust from my youth.
Psalm 119:114 - Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in Thy Word.
Lamentations 3-26 - It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.
Romans 5:1-2 - Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: by Whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Romans 8:24-25 - For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man sees, why does he yet hope for it? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
Roman 15:4, 13 - For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope. - - - Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
1 Corinthians 15:19 - If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
Galatians 5:5 - For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
Colossians 1:27 - To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory!
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 - But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so those also who sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him. For this we say unto you by the Word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Timothy 1:1-2 - Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Savior, and Lord Jesus Christ, Who is our hope; unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.
Titus 1:1-2 - Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness; in hope of eternal life, which God, Who cannot lie, promised before the world began!
Titus 2:13-14 - Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ; Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
Titus 3:7 - That being justified by His grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
Hebrews 6:18-20 - That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters into that within the veil; whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest forever after the order of Melchisedec.
Hebrews 11:1 - Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
1 Peter 1:3, 21 - Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead - - - Who by Him do believe in God, Who raised Him up from the dead, and gave Him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
1 Peter 3:15 - But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man who asks you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear!
MY HOPE IS BUILT ON NOTHING LESS,
THAN JESUS' BLOOD AND RIGHTEOUSNESS!
