GOD IS LOVE!
Isaiah 38:17 - Behold . . . You have in love to my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption: for You have cast all my sins behind Your back.
Jeremiah 31:3 - The LORD has appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved you with an everlasting love: therefore with loving kindness have I drawn you.
Hosea 14:4 - I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for My anger is turned away from him.
John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 13:34 - A new commandment I give unto you, That you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
John 16:27 - For the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me, and have believed that I came out from God.
John 17:23 - I in them, and You in Me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them, as You hast loved Me.
Romans 5:8 - But God commended (demonstrated) His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 8:37-39 - Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Ephesians 2:4-9 - But God, Who is rich in mercy, for His great love wherewith He loved us, even when we were dead in sins, has quickened us together with Christ . . . And has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should (so that no man can) boast.
1 John 3:1 - Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knows us not, because it knew Him not.
1 John 4:8-10 - He that loves not knows not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent His Only Begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation (total; complete payment) for our sins.
THE BELIEVER'S LOGICAL RESPONSE!
1 John 4:19 - We love Him, because He first loved us.
