AS IT WAS IN THE DAYS OF NOAH AND LOT!
Romans 1:24-32 (ERV) - People wanted only to do evil. So God left them and let them go their sinful way. And so they became completely immoral and used their bodies in shameful ways with each other. They traded the truth of God for a lie. They bowed down and worshiped the things God made instead of worshiping the God who made those things. He is the one who should be praised forever. Amen. Because people did those things, God left them and let them do the shameful things they wanted to do. Women stopped having natural sex with men and started having sex with other women. In the same way, men stopped having natural sex with women and began wanting each other all the time. Men did shameful things with other men, and in their bodies they received the punishment for those wrongs. People did not think it was important to have a true knowledge of God. So God left them and allowed them to have their own worthless thinking. And so they do what they should not do. They are filled with every kind of sin, evil, greed, and hatred. They are full of jealousy, murder, fighting, lying, and thinking the worst things about each other. They gossip and say evil things about each other. They hate God. They are rude, proud, and brag about themselves. They invent ways of doing evil. They don’t obey their parents, they are foolish, they don’t keep their promises, and they show no kindness or mercy to others. They know God’s Law says that anyone who lives like that should die. But they not only continue to do these things themselves, but they also encourage others who do them.
SO SHALL IT BE IN THE LAST DAYS!
2 Timothy 3:1-5 (ERV) - Remember this: There are some terrible times coming in the last days. People will love only themselves and money. They will be proud and boast about themselves. They will abuse others with insults. They will not obey their parents. They will be ungrateful and against all that is pleasing to God. They will have no love for others and will refuse to forgive anyone. They will talk about others to hurt them and will have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. People will turn against their friends. They will do foolish things without thinking and will be so proud of themselves. Instead of loving God, they will love pleasure. They will go on pretending to be devoted to God, but they will refuse to let that "devotion" change the way they live. Stay away from these people!
THE SIGNS OF THE TIMES!
In a day when parents are afraid to spank their children; a day when libraries have huge sections of "self-help" books; in a day when people flock to mega-churches which tickle the ears with half-truths, such as God is love, with no mention of Him offering to make us a holy people; in a day when "I'm Okay, You're Okay" legitimizes abominable behavior; in a day when mirrors and "selfies" replace humility; in a day when men and women sworn to protect the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, not only ignore it, but seek to do the opposite of what it states; in a day when the media has become the agents of spin for all that is evil; we see the Word of God being fulfilled! We are definitely in the Last Days!
