THE CHRISTIAN LIFE: IT IS NOT ABOUT MY WILL, BUT HIS WILL!

For ye are bought with a price: 

therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, 

which are God's (1 Cor. 6:20).

Mark 3:35 - For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is My brother, and My sister, and mother.

Romans 8:27 - And He that searches the hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

Galatians 1:3-4 - Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, Who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father.

Ephesians 6:5-6 - Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ; not with eye service, as men-pleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart.

Colossians 4:12 - Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, salutes you, always laboring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.

1 Thessalonians 4:1-3 - Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more.  For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus.  For this is the will of God, even your sanctification....

1 Thessalonians 5:18 - In everything give thanks:  for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

1 Peter 2:13-16 - Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake:  whether it be to the king, as supreme; or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by Him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.  For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:  as free, and not using your liberty for a cloak of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.

1 Peter 4:1-2 - Forasmuch then as Christ has suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind:  for he that has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin; that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

1 John 2:15-17 - Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world.  If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.  For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.  And the world passes away, and the lust thereof:  but he that does the will of God abides forever.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; 

and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

not of works, lest any man should boast.

For we are His workmanship, 

created in Christ Jesus unto good works, 

which God has before ordained that we 

should walk in them (Eph. 2:8-10).
