BELIEVERS IN CHRIST ARE THE CHILDREN OF GOD!
John 1:10-13 - (Jesus) was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not. He came unto His own, and His own received Him not. But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the (children) of God, even to those who believe on His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
John 3:3-8 - Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus said unto Him, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind blows where it (wants), and you hear the sound thereof, but can not tell (from where) it comes, and (where) it goes: so is every one (who) is born of the Spirit.
Romans 8:14-18 - For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the (children) of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit (Himself) bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Ephesians 1:3-6 - Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: according as He has chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love: having predestined us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He has made us accepted in the beloved.
Philippians 2:13-15 - For it is God Who works in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure. Do all things without murmuring and disputing: that ye may be blameless and harmless, the (children) of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world.
1 John 3:1-2 - Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the (children) of God: therefore the world knows us not, because it knew Him not. Beloved, now are we the (children) of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is.
