GOD APPOINTS KINGS

In light of yesterday's election results, I thought I would simply copy my responses to those who were grieved by the outcome.  Here are just a few of my quotes from Facebook:

Paul Mutschler  "It is God who appoints kings, so for the Christian, he is OUR President."

Paul Mutschler  "LAODICEA, my brother! The people rule."

Paul Mutschler  "Don't let your wisdom overrule your witness. America has received exactly what it deserves, and the same majority who cried "crucify Him," have spoken. Whenever the people rule (Laodicea), evil wins."

Paul Mutschler  "LAODICEA, my Sister! Revelation 3 speaks of the two churches in the end time. One, Philadelphia, will be raptured. The other, Laodicea, will remain to suffer during the Tribulation, because it is a social organization "ruled by the people" with Jesus standing outside waiting for someone, anyone, to open the door and let Him in."

Paul Mutschler  "Remember, my brother in Christ, it was a majority that spoke when they said "crucify Him." If God can make something as awful as that turn out for His glory, I am sure He can do the same with our elected officials. There is no shame in voting for those who represent Christ, but I am afraid neither of the two options qualified: shame on America for limiting our choices to the two men we had from which to choose. One worships a phony jesus, and the other is overtly anti-Israel. SAD either way."

Paul Mutschler  "He WILL be glorified in the end, as EVERY knee will bow before Him. However, the minority bows during their life time, and the majority following their life. In the meantime, we will watch as humanity self-destructs. God help us - it is time for the Rapture, or at least I pray it is!"

God Almighty  "I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, [and] giving of thanks, be made for all men; for kings, and [for] all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.  For this [is] good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour" (1 Tim. 2:1-3).

Born again believers are only useful to God when they act like Jesus.
Remember, He lived in the days of Rome!
