ALL THE WORK NECESSARY FOR YOUR SALVATION IS FINISHED!
John 17:3-4 - And this is life eternal, that they might know Thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, Whom You have sent. I have glorified Thee on the earth: I have finished the work which You gave Me to do.
John 19:28-30 - After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, I thirst. Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a sponge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to His mouth. When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, He said, It is finished: and He bowed His head, and gave up the ghost (died).
SALVATION IS A GIFT; IT CANNOT BE EARNED!
Romans 3:20-23 - Therefore by the deeds of the Law there shall no flesh be justified in His sight: for by the Law is the knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of God without (apart from) the Law is manifested, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets; even the righteousness of God which is by faith in Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God....
Romans 11:6 - And if by grace (a gift; undeserved; unmerited favor), then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace....
Ephesians 2:8-9 - For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.
2 Timothy 1:9-10 - God, Who has saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, but is now made manifest by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, Who has abolished death, and has brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel....
THE GOSPEL (GOD'S MESSAGE OF GOOD NEWS) ALONE CAN SAVE US!
Romans 1:16-17 - For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one who believes it; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek (Gentile). For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
1 Corinthians 15:1-6 - Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel which I preached unto you, which also you have received, and wherein you stand; by which also you are saved, if you keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless you have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures: and that He was seen by Cephas (Peter), then by the twelve: after that, He was seen by more than five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep (have died).
THERE IS BUT ONE "WORK" WE CAN DO TO PLEASE GOD!
John 3:16-17 - For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.
John 6:28-29 - Then said they unto Him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that you believe on Him (Me, Jesus) Whom He (The Father) has sent.
DO YOU BELIEVE THESE THINGS?
