THE LAW OF MOSES: DEFINES SIN AS ONES FAILURE TO LOVE!

GOD IS LOVE!

John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Romans 5:8 - But God commended (demonstrated) His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

1 John 4:8 - . . . God is love.

BELIEVING THAT, HOW SHOULD WE RESPOND?

Deuteronomy 6:4-5 - Hear, O Israel:  The LORD our God is one LORD:  and you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might.  

Matthew 5:43-44 - You have heard that it has been said, You shall love your neighbor, and hate your enemy.  But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who despitefully use you, and persecute you. 

Matthew 7:12 - Therefore all things whatsoever you would that men should do to you, do you even so to them:  for this is the Law and the Prophets.

Matthew 22:37-40 -  Jesus said unto him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.  This is the first and great commandment.  And the second is like unto it, You shall love your neighbor as (you love) yourself.  On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.

Mark 12:29-31 - And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:  and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength:  this is the first commandment.  And the second is like, namely this, You shall love your neighbor as (you love) yourself.  There is none other commandment greater than these.

Romans 13:8 - Owe no man anything, but to love one another:  for he that loves another has fulfilled the Law.

Galatians 5:14 - For all the Law is fulfilled in one word (statement), even in this; You shall love your neighbor as (you love) yourself.

James 2:8 - If you fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, You shall love your neighbor as (you love) yourself, you do well.

1 John 3:23 - And this is His commandment, That we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as He gave us commandment.

1 John 4:11 - Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

THE LAW NOT ONLY DEFINES SIN,

IT REVEALS HOW WE ARE TO LOVE!

BECAUSE WE ARE NOT ABLE TO LOVE AS WE OUGHT,

IT HAS BECOME CLEAR TO US THAT WE ARE SINNERS!

TRUST THE LORD WHO DIED FOR YOUR SINS;

AND HE WILL WORK TO MAKE YOU LIKE HIMSELF!
