John 6:53-56, 63 - Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except you eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink His blood, you have no life in you. Whoso eats My flesh, and drinks My blood, has eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. For My flesh is meat indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. He that eats My flesh, and drinks My blood, dwells in Me, and I in him. - - - It is the Spirit Who quickens (makes alive); the flesh profits nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit, and they are life. [Note: See 1 Corinthians 11:23-26 below.]

After the same manner also He took the cup, when He had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in My blood: this do, as oft as you drink it, in remembrance of Me. For as often as you eat this bread, and drink this cup, you do show the Lord's death till He come.

For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies to the purifying of the flesh: how much more shall the blood of Christ, Who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? - - - And almost all things are by the Law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

1 John 5:5-6 - Who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believes that Jesus is the Son of God? This is He that came by water (physical birth) and blood (physical death - See Leviticus 17:11), even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit Who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth. [Note: See also "water and the Spirit" as in describing the two births in John 3:3-6.]
Revelation 1:5 - And from Jesus Christ, Who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the Prince of the kings of the earth. Unto Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood.... [Note: Jesus is call the Prince because He has not yet come as the King of kings - See Revelation 19:16).]
