JESUS WAS IN THE GRAVE FOR JUST THREE DAYS
Psalm 16:10; Acts 2:27 - For Thou will not leave My soul in hell; neither will Thou suffer Thine Holy One to see corruption. - - - Because Thou will not leave My soul in hell, neither will Thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
THE RESURRECTED CHRIST ASCENDED INTO HEAVEN
Psalm 68:18; Ephesians 4:8 - Thou hast ascended on high, Thou hast led captivity captive: Thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them. - - - Wherefore He said, When He ascended up on high, He led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
THE SECOND COMING OF JESUS CHRIST TO RULE FOREVER
Isaiah 9:6-7; Revelation 19:11-16 - For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this. - - - And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He does judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns; and He had a name written, that no man knew, but He Himself. And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed Him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations: and He shall rule them with a rod of iron: and He treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His vesture and on His thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
HE CAME AND DIED FOR THE SINS OF THE WORLD.
HE WAS BURIED AND ROSE FROM THE DEAD.
HE IS NOW WITH HIS FATHER IN HEAVEN.
HE IS COMING AGAIN TO RULE FOREVER.
