JESUS: CREATOR, SAVIOR, LORD!

JESUS IS GOD, OUR CREATOR!

John 1:1-3, 14 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was GodThe same was in the beginning with God.  All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made. - - - And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

1 Timothy 3:16 - And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:  God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

Hebrews 1:1-3 - God, who at (various) times and in (various ways) spoke in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, Whom He has appointed heir of all things, by Whom also He made the worlds; Who being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the Word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.

JESUS CAME TO DIE FOR THE SINS OF THE WORLD!

John 11:49-53 - And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all, nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not.  And this spoke he not of himself:  but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation; and not for that nation only, but that also He should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroadThen from that day forth they took counsel together for to put Him to death.

2 Corinthians 5:14-15, 21 - For the love of Christ constrains us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:  and that He died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto Him Who died for them, and rose again. - - - For He has made Him to be sin for us, Who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.

1 John 2:1-2 - My little children, these things write I unto you, that you sin not.  And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:  and He is the propitiation for our sins:  and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world[Note:  "propitiation" means "paid in full" of our debt to God; the payment required for sin is death - Rom. 6:23]

SALVATION IS A GIFT TO THOSE WHO TRUST IN THE LORD JESUS!

Acts 16:30-31 - And brought (Paul and Silas) out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?  And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved....

Ephesians 2:8-9 - For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:  it is the gift of God:  not of works, lest any man should boast.

Titus 3:5 - Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us....

GOD'S LOVE FOR YOU PROVIDED THE GIFT OF ETERNAL LIFE!
BUT HIS GIFT MUST BE RECEIVED IN ORDER FOR IT TO BE YOURS!
