OUR LIVES SHOULD BE LIVED SO THAT GOD IS GLORIFIED!
Psalm 22:23 - You that fear the LORD, praise Him; all you the seed of Jacob, glorify Him; and fear Him, all you the seed of Israel.
Psalm 50:15 - And call upon Me in the day of trouble: I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.
Psalm 86:12 - I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify Your name for evermore.
Matthew 5:16 - Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Luke 2:20 - And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.
Luke 5:25 - And immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and departed to his own house, glorifying God.
Luke 18:43 - And immediately he received his sight, and followed Him, glorifying God: and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God.
John 13:31 - Therefore, when Judas was gone out, Jesus said, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in Him.
John 16:13-14 - ...The Spirit of Truth...shall glorify Me: for He shall receive of Mine, and shall show it unto you.
John 17:1 - These words spoke Jesus, and lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You.
John 21:19 - This spoke He, signifying by what death Peter should glorify God. And when He had spoken this, He said unto him, Follow Me.
Romans 15:6-7, 9 - That you may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Wherefore receive you one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God. - - - And that the Gentiles might glorify God for His mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess You among the Gentiles, and sing unto Your name.
1 Corinthians 6:20 - For you are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
1 Peter 2:12 - Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.
1 Peter 4:15 - Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.
Revelation 15:4 - Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You only are Holy: for all nations shall come and worship before You; for Your judgments are made manifest.
THERE IS REALLY ONLY ONE COMMANDMENT THAT GLORIFIES GOD:
Galatians 5:13-14 - For, brethren, you have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. For all the Law is fulfilled...in this; you shall love your neighbor as yourself.
THE WORDS AND ACTIONS OF BELIEVERS IN CHRIST
SHOULD GLORIFY HIM AND MAKE OTHERS WANT TO KNOW HIM!
SADLY, MOST OF WHAT WE SAY AND DO,
IS FOCUSED UPON BUILDING OURSELVES UP,
AND TEARING OTHERS DOWN! GOD FORGIVE US!
