GOD'S MOTIVE IS HIS LOVE FOR US!
John 3:14-18 - And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness (Numbers 21:4-9), even so must the Son of man (Jesus) be lifted up (be crucified): that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that He gave (sacrificed) His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. He that believes in Him is not condemned: but he that does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the Only Begotten Son of God.
Romans 5:1-2, 6, 8-9 - Therefore being justified (declared righteous; given a right standing with God) by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: by Whom also we have access by faith into this grace (unmerited, undeserved favor) wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. - - - For when we were yet without strength (powerless to cleanse ourselves), in due time Christ died for the ungodly. - - - But God commended (demonstrated; revealed) His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified (declared righteous; given a right standing with God) by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.
1 Corinthians 15:1-7 - Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel (the good news of God's love for us) which I preached unto you, which also you have received, and wherein ye stand; by which also you are saved - - - For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures: and that He was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: after that, He was seen of above (by more than) five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep (some have died). After that, He was seen of James; then of all the apostles.
2 Corinthians 5:20-21 - Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you (plead with you) in Christ's stead, be reconciled to God. For He has made Him to be sin for us, Who knew no sin (Hebrews 4:15); that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.
1 Thessalonians 1:9-10 - For they themselves show...how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God; and to wait for His Son from heaven, Whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus, Who delivered us from the wrath to come.
IF THESE VERSES DON'T CONVINCE YOU TO BELIEVE IN JESUS,
THEN THERE IS NOTHING MORE TO BE SAID!
YOU WILL SOON EXPERIENCE THE AWFUL WRATH OF GOD!
