THE TRUTH ABOUT YOUR BIBLE!

GOD'S WARNING TO THOSE WHO WOULD CHANGE THE BIBLE!

Revelation 22:18-19 KJV - For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:  And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

THE FIRST TWO VERSES IN GENESIS

Genesis 1:1-2 KJV -  In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.  And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

THE TWO VERSES ABOVE IN HEBREW

בְּרֵאשִׁית בָּרָא אֱלֹהִים אֵת הַשָּׁמַיִם וְאֵת הָאָֽרֶץ׃וְהָאָרֶץ הָיְתָה תֹהוּ וָבֹהוּ וְחֹשֶׁךְ עַל־פְּנֵי תְהֹום וְרוּחַ אֱלֹהִים מְרַחֶפֶת עַל־פְּנֵי הַמָּֽיִם׃

FOR THOSE WHO WOULD ARGUE ABOUT BIBLE VERSIONS

1.  Note that, in both the Hebrew and the Greek, there is no punctuation.
2.  There are twelve "phrases" in Rev. 22:18, and twelve "phrases" in 22:19.
3.  There are three "phrases" in Gen. 1:1, and ten "phrases" in 1:2.
4.  "Phrases" means adding words to the "translation," to "make the text understandable."

WHAT ABOUT THE KING JAMES VERSION?

1.  Since A.D. 1611, there have been many upgrades due to changes in spelling and words no longer used by English speaking nations.
2.  The original A.D. 1611 version contained the Apocrypha.  These books were placed between the Old and New Testaments.  The Apocrypha was a part of the 1611 King James Version for 274 years, until they were finally removed in A.D. 1885.
3.  While the King James Version is the one I use, there are some glaring mistakes in it:  Acts 12:4 calls the Passover Feast "Easter"; and Acts 7:45 and Hebrews 4:8 mistakenly read "Jesus," when it is obvious that the person of whom they are speaking, is Joshua!

REGARDLESS OF THESE FACTS, THE BIBLE'S MESSAGE IS CLEAR!

1.  Human beings are sinners!
2.  God hates sin and declares that the wages of sin is death!
3.  God loves sinners!  He sent His Only Begotten Son to die in our place!
4.  God raised Jesus from the dead and has given Him all authority!
5.  God offers the gift of salvation to all who will accept His Son as their Lord and Savior!
6.  Upon accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we become the adopted children of God!
7.  Our faith in Jesus Christ results in both everlasting and eternal life!

YOU CAN BECOME GOD'S CHILD TODAY BY
BELIEVING IN THE JESUS OF THE HOLY BIBLE!
DON'T PUT IT OFF; HE IS COMING FOR US SOON!
