THE MAN ISRAEL WILL THINK IS THEIR MESSIAH!

THE PRINCE OF ROME

Daniel 9:26-27 - And after threescore and two weeks (seven weeks - 49 yrs. plus the sixty-two weeks - 434 yrs. for a total of sixty-nine weeks - 483 yrs.), shall Messiah be cut off (killed), but not for Himself (Jesus died for the sins of the world - 1 Jn. 2:2) and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary (Rome destroyed both in A.D. 70, so the "prince that shall come" will be a man from the area controlled by the Roman Empire); and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined (Armagedden:  Rev. 16:16; 19: 19-21).  And he (the "prince that shall come") shall confirm the covenant with many for one week (exactly 7 yrs.): and in the midst of the week ("the midst" or middle of Daniel's 70th Week shall be 1260 days - Rev. 11:3; 12:6 - 42 months - Rev. 11:2; 13:5 - time, times, and half a time - Dan. 7:25; 12:7; Rev. 12:14 - all equal exactly 3 1/2 yrs.) he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

THAT MAN OF SIN - THE SON OF PERDITION - THAT WICKED ONE

2 Thessalonians 2:3-4, 8-9 - Let no man deceive you by any means:  for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
who opposes and exalts himself above all that is God, or is worshipped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. - - - And then shall that Wicked One be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the Spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming...even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders.

THE ANTICHRIST:  IMPOSTER OF, AND AGAINST CHRIST

1 John 2:18, 21-22 - Little children, it is the last time:  and as you have heard that Antichrist shall come, even now are there many Antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. - - -  I have not written unto you because you know not the truth, but because you know it, and that no lie is of the truth.  Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ?  He is Antichrist, that denies the Father and the Son.

2 John 1:7 - For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh.  This is a deceiver and an Antichrist.

Revelation 6:1-2 - And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.  And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.  [Note:  Israel's true Messiah comes on a white horse thirteen chapters later - Rev. 19:11]

THE BEAST

Revelation 13:1-8 - And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.  And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.  And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.  And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast?  Who is able to make war with him?  And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.  And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, and His tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.  And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them:  and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.  And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

ISRAEL WARNED OF THIS FALSE CHRIST

Matthew 24:15-21 - When you therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place (whosoever reads this, let him understand:), then let those who are in Judaea flee into the mountains:  let him who is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:  neither let him who is in the field return back to take his clothes.  And woe unto those who are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!  But pray that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day:  for then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

John 5:43 - I am come in My Father's name, and you receive Me not:  if another shall come in his own name, him you will receive.
