FAITH IN HIS DEATH FOR OUR SINS BRINGS FORGIVENESS;
FAITH IN HIS RESURRECTION BRINGS US ETERNAL LIFE!
Acts 5:30-31* - The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, Whom you had crucified. But God has exalted Him with His right hand, to be Prince (the future King of kings) and Savior; in order to give repentance to Israel, and the forgiveness of sins.
Acts 13:33-38* - God has . . . raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, You are My Son, this day have I begotten You. And as concerning that He raised Him up from the dead, never to return to corruption, He said this way, I will give You the sure mercies of David. Wherefore, He also said in another psalm, You shall not allow Your Holy One to see corruption. For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, died and was laid to rest as was his fathers, and his body saw corruption: but He, Whom God raised again, saw no corruption. Be it known unto you, therefore men and brethren, that through this Man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins.
Acts 26:15-18* - And I said, Who are You, Lord? And He said, I am Jesus Whom you persecute. But rise, and stand upon your feet: for I have appeared unto you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness, both of these things which you have seen, and of those things in the which I will reveal unto you; delivering you from the Jews, and from the Gentiles, unto whom I now send you, to open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and an inheritance among those who are made holy by faith that is in Me.
Ephesians 1:3-7* - Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: according to the fact that He has chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love: having predestined us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He has made us accepted in His Beloved. In Whom our sin-debt was paid through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.
1 John 2:2* - My little children, these things have I written unto you, that you should not sin. Even so, remember when you do sin, that we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: and He has paid the sin-debt for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
THE MESSAGE OF SALVATION FROM THE PENALTY OF OUR SINS,
IS FOUND IN THE GOSPEL; THE MESSAGE WITH THE POWER TO SAVE!
Romans 1:16-17* - For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God which yields salvation to everyone who believes it; to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile. For therein is the righteousness of God given to those who have faith: as it is written, The just shall have eternal life because of their faith.
1 Corinthians 15:1-6* - Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel which I preached unto you, which also you have received, and wherein you stand; by which also you are saved , , , For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures: and that He was seen of Peter, then of the twelve: after that, He was seen by more than five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part are still living, but some have died.
BELIEVING THAT GOD GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON TO DIE FOR OUR SINS,
RESULTS IN OUR BEING FORGIVEN, AND OUR ADOPTION BY GOD HIMSELF!
1 John 3:1-2* - Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the children of God: therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now are we the children of God, and although it does not yet appear what we shall be: we know that, when He shall come for us, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is.
