WILL YOU CONFESS THAT JESUS CHRIST IS YOUR LORD?

SOME ARE SILENT BECAUSE THEY ARE AFRAID

*  John 9:21-23 - But by what means he now seeth, we know not; or who hath opened his eyes, we know not:  he is of age; ask him:  he shall speak for himself.  These words spoke his parents, because they feared the Jews:  for the Jews had agreed already, that if any man did confess that He was Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue.  Therefore said his parents, He is of age; ask him.

 

SOME ARE SILENT BECAUSE THEY PREFER THE PRAISE OF MAN

*  John 12:42-43 - Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on Him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue:  for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

 

WHOSOEVER TRUTHFULLY CONFESSES CHRIST AS LORD, SHALL BE SAVED 

*  Matthew 10:32-33 - Whosoever therefore shall confess Me before men, him will I confess also before My Father Who is in heaven.  But whosoever shall deny Me before men, him will I also deny before My Father Who is in heaven.

*  Luke 12:8-9 - Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess Me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:  but he that denieth Me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.

*  Romans 10:9-13 - That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  For the Scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed.  For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon Him.  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

*  Romans 15:8-9 - Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:  and that the Gentiles might glorify God for His mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto Thy name.

*  Philippians 2:10-11 - That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

*  1 John 4:1-3, 15 - Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.  Hereby know ye the Spirit of God:  every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:  and every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God:  and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world....Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

 

THOSE WHO ARE TRULY BORN AGAIN, CONFESS THAT JESUS IS THEIR LORD!
