JEHOVAH - LORD

Exodus 6:1-3 - Then the LORD said unto Moses, Now shall you see what I will do to Pharaoh:  for with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land.  And God spoke unto Moses, and said unto him, I AM the LORD:  and I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by My name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.

Psalm 83:16-18 - Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek Your name, O LORD  (JEHOVAH).  Let them be confounded and troubled forever; yes, let them be put to shame, and perish:  that men may know that You, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, are the most high over all the earth.

Isaiah 12:1-3 - And in that day you shall say, O LORD, I will praise You: though You were angry with me, Your anger is turned away, and You comforted me.  Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid:  for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; He also is become my salvation.  Therefore with joy shall you draw water out of the wells of salvation.

Isaiah 26:3-5 - You wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You: because he trusts in You.  Trust in the LORD forever:  for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:  for He brings down those who dwell on high; the lofty city, He lays it low; He lays it low, even to the ground; He brings it even to the dust.

JEHOVAH-JIREH - GOD PROVIDES

Genesis 22:6-14 - And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together.  And Isaac spoke unto Abraham his father, and said, My father:  and he said, Here am I, my son.  And he said, Behold the fire and the wood:  but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?  And Abraham said, My son, God will provide Himself a lamb for a burnt offering:  so they went both of them together.  And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood.  And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son.  And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I.  And he said, Lay not your hand upon the lad, neither do you anything unto him:  for now I know that you fear God, seeing you have not withheld your son, your only son from Me.  And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns:  and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.  And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah-jireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen.

JEHOVAH-NISSI - GOD IS OUR BANNER

Exodus 17:14-16 - And the LORD said unto Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua:  for I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.  And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it Jehovah-nissi:  for he said, Because the LORD has sworn that the LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.

JEHOVAH-SHALOM - JEHOVAH, OUR PEACE

Judges 6:23-24 - And the LORD said unto him, Peace be unto you; fear not:  you shall not die.  Then Gideon built an altar there unto the LORD, and called it Jehovah-shalom:  unto this day it is yet in Ophrah of the Abi-ezrites.
