THE ANSWER TO YESTERDAY'S QUESTION!

YESTERDAY'S BLOG ENDED WITH THIS QUESTION:

SINCE JESUS IS GOD, THE SON OF GOD, 

THE LORD, AND THE I AM,

AND SINCE HE DIED FOR YOUR SINS 

AND WAS RAISED TO LIFE,

WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE THAT 

YOUR RESPONSE SHOULD BE TO HIM?

SOME "SUGGESTIONS" FROM GOD'S WORD:

1.  Romans 10:9-13 - Because you believe the crucified Lord was raised from the dead, publicly acknowledge Him as your Lord; you, knowing you are unworthy of God's grace, also know that God, who is no respecter of persons, wants all who will call upon the name of the Lord to be saved!

2.  Romans 1:16; 1 Corinthians 15:1-6 - Share the Gospel message that has the power of God to save the lost; the Gospel:  Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, and He was seen alive by more than 500 before He ascended into heaven! 

3.  Philippians 2:1-11 - Be humble; esteem others as more important than yourself; be grateful for Christ's sacrifice to pay for your sins; kneel and worship the risen Lord!

4.  Galatians 5:16-25 - Because believers struggle to turn from the lusts of the flesh to obedience to the Lord, our only hope is to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit:  our flesh desires to enjoy sin, but as believers, we long to please God, and by following the Spirit's lead, we will love God and our neighbors, have joy, have peace, be patience and gentle and good; we will be strong in our faith, be humble, and have self-control! 

5.  1 Thessalonians 1:9-10; 4:13-18; 5:9 - Remember that the same God Who raised His Son from the dead, has promised to deliver us from His coming wrath!  Jesus will return for all those who believe in Him, dead or living, and He will remove us from this doomed world!

6.  Hebrews 12:5-11 - Remember that while we, as children of God,  may often fail to live in obedience to the will of God, He promises to discipline us as our Father.  In fact, being disciplined by Him is not only needed to keep us "on track," it is also evidence that we are truly His children!

7.  Revelation 19:11-16 - By faith in the prophetic Word of God, we know that Jesus Christ is coming back to rule this world.  We know that believers will reign with Him, as our KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS!  [Note:  The Word says we will ever be with Him (2 Cor. 5:8; 1 Thes. 4:17)]!

LOVE, WORSHIP, AND OBEY GOD'S WILL!
