PSALM 107
[1] O give thanks unto the LORD, for He is good: for His mercy endures forever.
[2] Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy;
[2] Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy;
[Note: "the enemy" is "the wicked one," "the devil" (Mt. 13:19, 28, 38-39)]
[6] Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and He delivered them out of their distresses.
[7] And He led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation.
[8] Oh that men would praise the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!
[13] Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and He saved them out of their distresses.
[14] He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and brake their bands in sunder.
[15] Oh that men would praise the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!
[19] Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and He saved them out of their distresses.
[20] He sent His Word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
[21] Oh that men would praise the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!
[28] Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and He brought them out of their distresses.
[29] He made the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof were still.
[30] Then are they glad because they be quiet; so He brought them unto their desired haven.
[31] Oh that men would praise the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!
[32] Let them exalt Him also in the congregation of the people, and praise Him in the assembly of the elders.
[43] Whosoever is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the loving kindness of the LORD.
PROVERBS 11
[30] The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that wins souls is wise.
ROMANS 10
[8] But what (does the Gospel say)? The Word is near you, even in your mouth, and in your heart: that is, the Word of faith, which we preach;
[9] That if you will (publicly) confess with your mouth (your faith in) the Lord Jesus, and truly believe in your heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.
[10] For with the heart man believes (the Gospel and is declared of God to be) righteous; and with the mouth confession (of faith in Jesus Christ) is made unto salvation.
[11] For the Scripture says, Whosoever believes in Him shall not be ashamed.
[12] For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek (Gentile; all non-Jews): for the same Lord over all is rich unto all who call upon Him.
[13] For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
[14] How then shall they call on Him in Whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of Whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher (someone to tell them)?
[15] And how shall they preach (tell them), except they be sent? As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the Gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
[16] But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias (Isaiah) said, Lord, who hath believed our report?
[17] So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.

[Note: These verses teach that believers should follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, and proclaim the Gospel, that which alone has the power to save the lost (Rom. 1:16-17). The Gospel in its simplest form is found in 1 Corinthians 15:1-6:
Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel which I preached unto you, which also you have received, and wherein you stand; by which also you are saved . . . . For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures: and that He was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: after that, He was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.]
BORN AGAIN BELIEVERS NOT ONLY HAVE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF SHARING THE GOSPEL
WITH OUR LOST AND DYING WORLD,
DOING SO REVEALS ONES LOVE FOR HIM,
AND ALSO FOR OUR NEIGHBOR!
