Genesis 5:1-2; 2:3; 3:20 - This is the book of the generations of Adam. Genesis 17:5, 15 - Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. - - - And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be.
Genesis 32:28 - And He said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.
Genesis 41:45 - And Pharaoh called Joseph's name Zaphnath-paaneah; and he gave him to wife Asenath the daughter of Poti-pherah priest of On. And Joseph went out over all the land of Egypt.

Then said God, Call his name Lo-ammi: for ye are not My people, and I will not be your God. - - - Say ye unto your brethren, Ammi; and to your sisters, Ru-hamah.

SOME SHALL HAVE A NEW NAME
Isaiah 62:2 - And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.
Revelation 2:17 - He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; to him that overcomes will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knows saving he that receives it.
Revelation 3:12 - Him that overcomes will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him My new name.

Revelation 3:5 - He that overcomes, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of The Book of Life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
Revelation 13:8 - And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in The Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
Revelation 17:8 - The beast that thou saw was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in The Book of Life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
Revelation 20:11-15 - And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is The Book of Life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in The Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.
