SALVATION: THE RESULTS OF FAITH IN THE JESUS OF THE BIBLE!

WHO IS THE JESUS OF THE BIBLE?
HERE'S WHAT HIS FATHER SAYS IN HEBREWS ONE!

Long ago God spoke in many different ways to our fathers through the prophets, in visions, dreams, and even face to face, telling them little by little about His plans.  But now in these days He has spoken to us through His Son to Whom He has given everything and through Whom He made the world and everything there is.  God’s Son shines out with God’s glory, and all that God’s Son is and does marks Him as God.  He regulates the universe by the mighty power of His command.  He is the One Who died to cleanse us and clear our record of all sin, and then sat down in highest honor beside the great God of heaven.  Thus He became far greater than the angels, as proved by the fact that His name “Son of God,” which was passed on to Him from His Father, is far greater than the names and titles of the angels.  5-6 For God never said to any angel, “You are My Son, and today I have given you the honor that goes with that name.”  But God said it about Jesus.  Another time He said, “I am His Father and He is My Son.”  And still another time—when His firstborn Son came to earth—God said, “Let all the angels of God worship Him.”  God speaks of His angels as messengers swift as the wind and as servants made of flaming fire;  but of His Son he says, “Your Kingdom, O God, will last forever and ever; its commands are always just and right.  You love right and hate wrong; so God, even Your God, has poured out more gladness upon You than on anyone else.”  10 God also called Him “Lord” when He said, “Lord, in the beginning you made the earth, and the heavens are the work of Your hands.  11 They will disappear into nothingness, but You will remain forever.  They will become worn out like old clothes,  12 and some day You will fold them up and replace them.  But You Yourself will never change, and Your years will never end.”  13 And did God ever say to an angel, as He does to His Son, “Sit here beside Me in honor until I crush all Your enemies beneath Your feet?”  14 No, for the angels are only spirit-messengers sent out to help and care for those who are to receive His salvation.

ACCORDING TO ROMANS THREE, IT IS OUR FAITH
IN JESUS CHRIST THAT SAVES US FROM OUR SINS!
19 Now we know that everything in the Law applies to those who live under the Law, in order to stop all human excuses and bring the whole world under God's judgment.  20 For no one is put right in God's sight by doing what the Law requires; what the Law does is to make us know that we have sinned.  21 But now God's way of putting people right with Himself has been revealed.  It has nothing to do with Law, even though the Law of Moses and the prophets gave their witness to it.  22 God puts people right through their faith in Jesus Christ.  God does this to all who believe in Christ, because there is no difference at all:  23 everyone has sinned and is far away from God's saving presence.

GALATIANS THREE SAYS OBEDIENCE TO GOD'S LAW
CANNOT SAVE US; IT TEACHES WE NEED A SAVIOR!
21 Does this mean that the Law is against God's promises?  No, not at all!  For if human beings had received a Law that could bring life, then everyone could be put right with God by obeying it.  22 But the Scripture says that the whole world is under the power of sin; and so the gift which is promised on the basis of faith in Jesus Christ is given to those who believe.  23 But before the time for faith came, the Law kept us all locked up as prisoners until this coming faith should be revealed.  24 And so the Law was in charge of us until Christ came, in order that we might then be put right with God through faith.  25 Now that the time for faith is here, the Law is no longer in charge of us.  26 It is through faith that all of you are God's children in union with Christ Jesus.

EPHESIANS TWO REVEALS THAT SALVATION IS
GOD'S GIFT TO ALL WHO BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST!
But God's mercy is so abundant, and His love for us is so great,  that while we were spiritually dead in our disobedience He brought us to life with Christ.  It is by God's grace that you have been saved.  In our union with Christ Jesus He raised us up with Him to rule with Him in the heavenly world.  He did this to demonstrate for all time to come the extraordinary greatness of His grace in the love He showed us in Christ Jesus.  8-9 For it is by God's grace that you have been saved through faith.  It is not the result of your own efforts, but God's gift, so that no one can boast about it.  10 God has made us what we are, and in our union with Christ Jesus He has created us for a life of good deeds, which He has already prepared for us to do.

THANKS BE TO GOD!  AMEN!

Note:  All Scripture is based upon the Good News Translation.
I have used it to ensure even young children can understand it.
