THOSE WHO REJECT JESUS ARE THE ENEMIES OF GOD!

BORN AGAIN BELIEVERS SHOULD ACT LIKE THEIR FATHER

Matthew 5:43-48 - You have heard that it has been said, You shall love your neighbor, and hate your enemy.  But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who despitefully use you, and persecute you; that you may be (recognized as) the children of your Father Who is in heaven:  for He makes His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.  For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have?  Do not even the publicans (the much hated Jewish tax collectors for the Romans) the same?  And if you salute (politely greet) your brethren only, what do you more than others?  Do not even the publicans do that?  Be you therefore perfect, even as your Father Who is in heaven is perfect.

[Note:  Compare with Luke 6:36 which says, "Be you therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.]

THIS IS HOW OUR FATHER TREATED US!

John 3:14-17 - And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness (and all who looked upon it were saved - see Numbers 21:8-9), even so must the Son of man (I, Jesus) be lifted up:  that whosoever believes in Him (in Me) should not perish, but have eternal life.  For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through (faith in) Him might be saved.

Romans 5:6-10 - For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. - - - But God commended (demonstrated) His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.  Much more then, being now justified by (made righteous by) His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.  For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.

2 Corinthians 5:20-21 - Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us:  we pray (beg) you in Christ's stead (as Christ's messengers), be reconciled to God.  For He (the Father) has made Him (Jesus) to be sin for us, Who knew no sin (Who was sinless - see Hebrews 4:15 as well); that we might be made the righteousness of God (by faith) in Him.

OUR FATHER HAS WORK FOR US TO DO!

Ephesians 2:8-10 - For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:  it is the gift of God:  not of works, lest any man should boast.  For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them.

Philippians 1:6; 2:13 - (I, Paul) being confident of this very thing, that He Who has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. - - - For it is God Who works in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure.

Hebrews 13:20-21Now the God of peace, Who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that Great Shepherd of the sheep (see John 10:11-14), through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you perfect in every good work to do His will, working in you that which is well-pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ; to Whom be glory forever and ever.  Amen.

ALL OF US FALL INTO ONE OF TWO CATEGORIES!

Matthew 12:30 - (Jesus said) he that is not with Me is against Me. . . .

All who choose to reject Me, are My enemies!
BUT remember, I love My enemies!
