ISAIAH'S PROPHECY FULFILLED
WITH THE BIRTH OF JESUS!
Isaiah 7:14 - The Lord Himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call His name Immanuel (Hebrew spelling).
Matthew 1:18-25 - Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as His mother Mary was espoused (engaged) to Joseph, before they came together (before the wedding ceremony took place and was consummated), she was found with child (discovered to be pregnant) of the Holy Ghost. Then Joseph (according to Jewish Law, he was considered) her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example (Mary would have been stoned to death), was minded to put her away privily (divorce her privately). But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, son of David, fear not to take unto you Mary, your wife: for that (the child) which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son, and you shalt call His name JESUS: for He shall save His people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel (Greek spelling), which being interpreted is, God with us. Then Joseph, being raised from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: and knew her not till (did not consummate the marriage until after) she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called His name JESUS.
Luke 1:26-35 - And in the sixth month (of Elizabeth's pregnancy) the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, to a virgin espoused (engaged) to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary. And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, You who are highly favored, the Lord is with you: blessed are you among women. And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for you have found favor (Greek: charis - grace; unmerited favor) with God. And, behold, you shall conceive in your womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call His name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto Him the throne of His father David: and He shall reign over the house of Jacob forever; and of His kingdom there shall be no end. Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I known (I have not had sexual relations with) a man? And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon you, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow you: therefore also that Holy Child which shall be born of you shall be called the Son of God.
John 1:14-18 - And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the Only Begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. John (the baptizer) bore witness of Him, and cried, saying, This was He of whom I spoke, He that comes after me is preferred before me: for He was (existed) before me. And of His fullness have all we received, and grace for grace. For the Law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. No man has seen God at any time; the Only Begotten Son, Who is in the bosom (the heart) of the Father, He has declared Him.
John 3:16-18 - For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world, through Him, might be saved. He that believes in Him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the Only Begotten Son of God.
1 Timothy 3:16 - And without controversy, great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
Hebrews 1:1-3 - God, who at sundry (various) times and in divers manners (different ways) spoke in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, Whom He has appointed heir of all things, by Whom also He made the worlds; Who being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the Word of His power, when He had, by Himself, purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high....
WE CELEBRATE THE BIRTH OF JESUS;
WILL YOU CELEBRATE HIS RETURN?
