WHOSE SEED ARE YOU?

JESUS:  THE SEED OF WOMAN!

Genesis 3:14-15 - And the LORD God said unto the serpent . . . . I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed (zera -offspring) and her seed (zera - offspring); it (He) shall bruise (shuwph - crush) your head, and you shall bruise (shuwph - crush) His heel.

Note:  Galatians 3:16 identifies her seed:  Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made.  He did not say, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to your seed, Who is Christ.

Matthew 1:18, 22-25 - Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise:  When as His mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. . . . Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.  Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:  and knew her not until she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called His name JESUS.

BORN AGAIN BELIEVERS:  THE SEED OF GOD!

Matthew 13:24-30 - Another parable He (Jesus) put forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man who sowed good seed in his field:  but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.  But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.  So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, did not you sow good seed in your field?  Why then has it tares?  He said unto them, An enemy has done this.  The servants said unto him, Do you want us to go and gather them up?  But he said, No; lest while you gather up the tares, you also root up the wheat with them.  Let both grow together until the harvest:  and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them:  but gather the wheat into my barn.

Matthew 13:36-43 - Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house:  and His disciples came unto Him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.  He said unto them, He that sows the good seed is the Son of man (referring to Himself); the field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; the enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.  As  the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.*  The Son of man (I) shall send forth His (My) angels, and they shall gather out of His (My) kingdom all things that offend, and those who do iniquity; and shall cast them into a furnace of fire:  there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.  Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father.  Those who have ears to hear, let him hear.

*  Note:  The Greek word translated "world" is aion, meaning "a grouping of time; an age."  Because Jesus is speaking during the Dispensation of the Law, the "age" must have a 2000 year parenthetical gap in it which we know as the "Church Age."  It is clear from Scripture that following the Church Age, the Dispensation of the Law will continue for seven years (see Daniel 9:24-27).  Add to that the fact that the Dispensation of the Kingdom (Christ's 1000 year reign known as the Millennium) includes a Jewish Temple, sacrifices, and His strict enforcement of the Law.  It is therefore my belief that the Greek aion ends with the destruction of this present earth, as that after the Great White Throne Judgment takes place, and the children of the evil one will join the Antichrist, the False Prophet, and Satan, in the Lake of Fire (see 2 Peter 3:10-12; Revelation Ch. 6-19 which cover the Tribulation or Daniel's Seventieth Week; Revelation Ch. 19-20 which cover the Second Coming and the Millennium; Revelation Ch. 21 begins with the New Heaven and the New Earth).
