THE DAY GOD BECAME A MAN!

THE BIRTH OF JESUS FROM MAN'S PERSPECTIVE!

Matthew 1:16-25 (SLHV) - And Jacob begot (was father to) Joseph, the future husband to be of Mary, who would give birth to Jesus, Who is Christ (God's Anointed; Israel's Messiah). . . . Now the birth of Jesus happened this way:  when His mother Mary was engaged to Joseph, before they came together, was with child (was pregnant) by the Holy Spirit.  Joseph, her future husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, decided to put her away (call off the engagement) privately.  But while Joseph, who had fallen asleep thinking on these things, dreamt that the angel of the Lord appeared unto him, saying, Joseph, son (offspring; of the lineage) of David, fear not to take Mary as your wife:  for the child she is carrying was conceived of the Holy Spirit.  And she shall bring forth her firstborn, a son, and you shall call His name JESUS:  for He shall save His people from their sins.  Now all this was done, fulfilling the prophecy which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet (Isaiah 7:14), saying Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.  Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had told him, and he took Mary as his wife:  but he knew her not (did not consummate the marriage) until after she had brought forth her firstborn son:  and Joseph called His name JESUS.

THE BIRTH OF JESUS FROM GOD'S PERSPECTIVE!

Philippians 2:5-11 (SLHV) - Let this humility, this way of thinking be yours, which was also that of Christ Jesus:   Who, being God (John 1:1, 14), and in the full image and likeness of God (Hebrews 1:3), knowing it would not be wrong to say He was equal with God:   instead, He chose to make Himself lowly, without reputation, and took upon Himself the form of a servant, and came in the likeness of men:  and being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.  Therefore, God has highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name:  that at the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow, those in heaven, and those on the earth, and those under the earth; and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

THE SON OF GOD DIED FOR OUR SINS,

HIS BODY WAS BURIED FOR THREE DAYS,

AND HIS FATHER RESURRECTED HIM,

ALL ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES!

IF YOU TRULY BELIEVE THIS,

YOU ARE A CHILD OF GOD,

AND YOUR LORD IS SOON
