THE JESUS OF THE BIBLE

*  Matthew 1:21, 23, 25 - "And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call His name JESUS:  for He shall save His people from their sins....Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us....And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son:  and he called His name JESUS."

*  John 20:30-31 - "And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book:  but these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through His name."

*  1 Corinthians 12:3 - "Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed:  and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost."

*  1 John 2:22 - "Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ?  He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son."

*  1 John 4:15 - "Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God."

*  1 John 5:1, 5 - "Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth Him that begat loveth Him also that is begotten of Him....Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?"

*  Revelation 19:10, 13 - "And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not:  I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus:  worship God:  for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy....And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and  His name is called The Word of God."

"BE IT KNOWN UNTO YOU ALL, AND TO ALL THE PEOPLE OF ISRAEL, THAT BY THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH, WHOM YE CRUCIFIED, WHOM GOD RAISED FROM THE DEAD, EVEN BY HIM DOTH THIS MAN STAND HERE BEFORE YOU WHOLE.  THIS IS THE STONE WHICH WAS SET AT NOUGHT OF YOU BUILDERS, WHICH IS BECOME THE HEAD OF THE CORNER.  NEITHER IS THERE SALVATION IN ANY OTHER:  FOR THERE IS NONE OTHER NAME UNDER HEAVEN GIVEN AMONG MEN, WHEREBY WE MUST BE SAVED!"  (Acts 4:10-12)
