GOD OFFERS THE FREE GIFT OF SALVATION TO ALL WHO WILL TRUST IN JESUS!

MAN'S PROBLEM:  THE BAD NEWS!

Romans 3:23 - "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God!"

Romans 3:10 - "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one!"

Romans 6:23 - "For the wages of sin is death!"

Ezekiel 18:20 - "The soul that sinneth, it shall die!"

John 8:24 - "I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins:

                      for if ye believe not that I AM, ye shall die in your sins." 

THE GOSPEL:  THE GOOD NEWS!

Romans 1:16 - "For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ:  for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 - "Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; by which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.  For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures."

Ephesians 1:12-14 - "That we should be to the praise of His glory, who first trusted in Christ.  In Whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the Word of Truth, the Gospel of your salvation:  in Whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise, Who is the earnest* of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory."

* "Earnest" is from the Greek ἀρραβών (arrabōn), which is defined as "something which is given as a pledge or down payment that the full amount will subsequently be paid."  It appears two other times in the Word of God: 

2 Corinthians 1:22 - "Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts. 
2 Corinthians 5:5 - "Now He that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, Who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.
  
All three refer to the Holy Spirit within the believer; the promised possession will be when we are changed into the total likeness of Jesus Christ: 

1 John 3:2 - "Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be:  but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is."

JESUS SAID HE WOULD RETURN FOR THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN HIM!

John 14:1-3 - "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in Me.  In My Father's house are many mansions:  if it were not so, I would have told you.  I go to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I AM, there ye may be also."

BELIEVE THE GOSPEL MESSAGE, YOUR ETERNITY DEPENDS ON IT!
