LET THE REDEEMED OF THE LORD SAY SO!

"Redemption" - From Easton's Bible Dictionary -"The purchase back of something that had been lost, by the payment of a ransom.  The debt against us is not viewed as simply cancelled, but is fully paid.  Christ's blood or life, which He surrendered for us, is the "ransom" by which our deliverance from the slavery of sin, and from its penalty, is secured."

Job 19:25 - "For I know that my Redeemer liveth, and that He shall stand at the latter day upon the earth."

Psalm 19:14 - "Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in Thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my Redeemer."

Isaiah 44:6 - "Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and His Redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside Me there is no God."

Isaiah 47:4 - "As for our Redeemer, the LORD of hosts is His name, the Holy One of Israel."

Isaiah 48:17 - "Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God Who teacheth thee to profit, Who leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go."

Isaiah 54:5 - "For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is His name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall He be called."

Isaiah 63:16 - "Doubtless Thou art our Father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not:  Thou, O LORD, art our Father, our Redeemer; Thy name is from everlasting."

Jeremiah 50:34 - "Their Redeemer is strong; the LORD of hosts is His name:  He shall thoroughly plead their cause, that He may give rest to the land, and disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon."

Luke 1:68 - "Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for He hath visited and Redeemed His people."

Luke 24:21 - "But we trusted that it had been He Who should have Redeemed Israel:  and beside all this, today is the third day since these things were done."

Galatians 3:13 - "Christ hath Redeemed us from the curse of the Law, being made a curse for us:  for it is written, Cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree."

Galatians 4:4-5 - "But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the Law, to Redeem them that were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption of sons."

Titus 2:13-14 - "Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ; Who gave Himself for us, that He might Redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works."

1 Peter 1:18-19 - "Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not Redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot."

Revelation 5:9 - "And they sang a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof:  for Thou wast slain, and hast Redeemed us to God by Thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation."

Revelation 14:3-4 - "And they sang as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders:  and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, who were Redeemed from the earth.  These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins.  These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever He goeth.  These were Redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb."
