JESUS' HEALING MINISTRY AS "SIGNS AND WONDERS."
The Word of God says that during the Lord's earthly ministry, He provided signs and wonders for the sake of His brethren, the Jews (John 4:48; 20:30; Acts 2:22). This shows us His great love for His people, because He called those seeking a sign, "an evil and adulteress generation" (Matthew 12:39; Luke 11:29). Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 1:22-24 - "For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: but we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumbling-block, and unto the Greeks foolishness; but unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God."
JESUS' HEALING MINISTRY AS ACTS OF COMPASSION.
The Lord's compassion for those needing a miracle, however, was demonstrated throughout His ministry (Matthew 4:23; 9:35; Luke 9:6, 11; Acts 10:38; etc.)! On one occasion, He met a man without anyone to help him get healed by being first to enter the Pool of Bethsaida (John 5:1-15). Jesus healed that man, but no mention is made that He healed the rest of the crowd waiting pool-side; perhaps the others did have someone there to assist them, or they simply failed to recognize Who He was; I do not know.
HERE IS A LIST OF THOSE HEALED BY THE LORD JESUS CHRIST:
