VALENTINE'S DAY: NOTHING COMPARED TO THE LOVE OF GOD FOR US!

HE LIVED, HE DIED, HE WAS BURIED FOR US!
HE WAS RAISED FROM THE DEAD, PROVIDING SALVATION FOR US

Romans 4:20-25 - Abraham staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; and being fully persuaded that, what He had promised, He was able also to perform.  And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.  Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; but for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on Him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

Romans 5:8-10 - But God demonstrated His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for usMuch more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.  For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.

Romans 8:31-34 - What shall we then say to these things?  If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?  Who shall lay anything to the charge of God's elect?  It is God that justifies. Who is he that condemns?  It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, Who is even at the right hand of God, Who also makes intercession for us.

1 Corinthians 5:7-8 - Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened.  For even Christ our Passover is sacrificed for usTherefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

2 Corinthians 5:20-21 - Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us:  we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.  For He has made Him to be sin for us, Who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.

Galatians 3:13-14 - Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the Law, being made a curse for us:  for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangs on a tree:  that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Ephesians 5:1-2 - Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; and walk in love, as Christ also has loved us, and has given Himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savor.

1 Thessalonians 5:9-10 - For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.

Titus 2:13-14 - Looking for that Blessed Hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ; Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Hebrews 9:11-12 - But Christ being come a high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by His own blood He entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

1 Peter 2:20-21 - For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, you shall take it patiently?  But if, when you do well, and suffer for it, you take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.  For even hereunto were you called:  because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps...."

1 John 3:16 - Hereby perceive we the love of God, because He laid down His life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

HE LOVED US WHILE WE WERE YET SINNERS!
WE SHOULD LOVE THOSE WHO HAVE SINNED AGAINST US!
