MY THOUGHTS ON THE SEED OF EVE.

THE SEED OF WOMAN:  THE SEED OF EVE

[The Scriptures below are based upon my understanding of the KJV]

Genesis 3:14-15 - And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because you have done this, you art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon your belly shall you go, and dust shall you eat all the days of your life:  and I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; (He) shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.

THE SEED OF EVE PASSED ON THROUGH CHOSEN VESSELS

Genesis 12:7 - And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto  your seed will I give this land: and there he built an altar unto the LORD, Who appeared unto him.

Psalm 89:3-4 - I have made a covenant with My chosen, I have sworn unto David My servant, your seed will I establish forever, and build up your throne to all generations. Selah.

Isaiah 59:20-21 - And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Israel, says the LORD.  As for Me, this is My covenant with them, says the LORD; My Spirit that is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart out of your mouth, nor out of the mouth of your seed, nor out of the mouth of your seed's seed, says the LORD, from henceforth and forever.

Acts 3:25 - You are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed.

Galatians 3: 11-14 - No man is made just by the Law in the sight of God, it is evident:  for, The just shall live by faith.  And the Law is not of faith and not by works:  therefore, the man who is trusting in the Law must do all of it in order to be justified.  Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the Law, being made a curse for us:  for it is written, Cursed is every one that is hanged on a tree:  that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

EVE'S SEED IDENTIFIED:  IT IS JESUS CHRIST THE LORD

Galatians 3:16-18 - Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made.  He did not say, And to seeds, as of many; but as of One, and to thy Seed, Who is Christ.  And this I say, that the covenant, that was fulfilled before of God in Christ, the Law, which was not given until four hundred and thirty years after, cannot annul, that it should make the promise of no effect.  For if the inheritance be by keeping the Law, it is no more by God's promise:  but God gave it to Abraham by promise.

WE ARE SAVED BY FAITH IN CHRIST, NOT BY WORKS OF THE LAW

Galatians 3:19 - What then was the purpose of the Law?  It was added in order to deal with forgiveness of sins, until the Seed should come to Whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.

 

Galatians 3:21-22 - Is the Law then against the promises of God?  God forbid:  for if there had been a Law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the Law.  But the Scripture has declared that all are sinners, so that the promise which is by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

FAITH IN JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY FOR US TO GO TO HEAVEN.

NO MAN CAN GO TO THE FATHER EXCEPT BY FAITH IN HIM!
