JESUS DIED FOR OUR SINS ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES
John 8:23-24, 28 - "And Jesus said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I AM, ye shall die in your sins....Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up* the Son of man, then shall ye know that I AM, and that I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father hath taught Me, I speak these things." *[Note: Compare John 12:32-33 - "And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto Me. This He said, signifying what death He should die."]
JESUS ROSE FROM THE DEAD ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES
Matthew 28:6-7 - He is not here: for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly, and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead; and, behold, He goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see Him: lo, I have told you."
JESUS ASCENDED TO HIS FATHER IN HEAVEN
John 14:1-2 - "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you."
John 20:15-17 - "...Sir, if thou have borne Him hence, tell me where thou hast laid Him, and I will take Him away. Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto Rim, Rabboni; which is to say, Master. Jesus saith unto her, Touch Me not; for I am not yet ascended to My Father: but go to My brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto My Father, and your Father; and to My God, and your God."
Acts 1:9 - "And when Jesus had spoken these things, while they beheld, He was taken up; and a cloud received Him out of their sight."
THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN HIM LONG FOR HIS RETURN
John 14:3 - "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."
Philippians 3:20-21 - "...we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto His glorious body, according to the working whereby He is able even to subdue all things unto Himself."
Titus 2:11-14 - "For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; looking for that Blessed Hope, and the glorious appearing of the Great God and our Savior Jesus Christ; Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works."
JESUS WILL RETURN SOON FOR THOSE WHO ARE HIS!
EVEN SO, COME, LORD JESUS!
