NOTHING BUT THE BLOOD OF JESUS!

THE "BLOOD" OF THE CUP AT THE LAST SUPPER

Matthew 26:22-28 - And He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; for this is My blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

John 6:53-56, 63 - Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink His blood, ye have no life in you.  Whoso eats My flesh, and drinks My blood, has eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.  For My flesh is meat indeed, and My blood is drink indeed.  He that eats My flesh, and drinks My blood, dwells in Me, and I in him....the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

1 Corinthians 10:16 - The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ?  The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ? 

1 Corinthians 11:25-26 - After the same manner also He took the cup, when He had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in My blood:  this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of Me.  For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do show the Lord's death till He come. 

THE SHEDDING OF HIS BLOOD MEANT HE GAVE HIS LIFE 

Leviticus 17:11 - For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that makes an atonement for the soul.

Matthew 27:24-25 - When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person:  see ye to it.  Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.

John 19:34 - But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced His side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.

Acts 5:28 - Saying, Did not we straightly command you that ye should not teach in this name?  And, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us.

THE WORK OF THE BLOOD OF CHRIST FOR BELIEVERS

Acts 20:28 - Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost has made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which He has purchased with His own blood.

Romans 5:9 - Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

Ephesians 1:6-7 - To the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in The Beloved.  In Whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.

Colossians 1:13-14 - Who has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son:  in Whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins.

Hebrews 13:12 - Wherefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate. 

JESUS' BLOOD IS THE BASIS OF THE EVERLASTING COVENANT!

Hebrews 13:20-21 - Now the God of peace, Who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that Great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you perfect in every good work to do His will, working in you that which is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ; to Whom be glory forever and ever.  Amen.
