SHARING THE GOSPEL: THE BELIEVERS JOB!
THE GOSPEL!
Romans 1:16 - For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes (it); to the Jew first, and also to the Greek (the Gentile).
1 Corinthians 15:1-5 - Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel which I preached unto you, which also you have received, and wherein ye stand; by which also you are saved - - - For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures: and that He was seen (ALIVE!) of Cephas (by Peter), then of the twelve....
WE ARE NOT SAVED BY WORKS; WE ARE SAVED TO DO GOD'S WORK!
Ephesians 2:8-10 - For by grace (unmerited favor) are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them.
2 Corinthians 5:14-21 - For the love of Christ constrains (is in control of) us; because we thus judge, that if One died for all, then were all dead: and that He died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto Him Who died for them, and rose again. - - - Therefore if any man be (anyone is) in Christ, he is a new creature (creation): old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, Who has reconciled (removed the barrier between) us to Himself by Jesus Christ, and has given to us the ministry of reconciliation; to wit (that is), that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing (not counting) their trespasses unto them; and has committed unto us the Word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors (spokespersons; representatives) for Christ, as though God did beseech (beg; implore) you by us: we pray (beg; implore) you in Christ's stead, be reconciled to God. For He (The Father) has made Him (The Son) to be sin for us, Who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.
THE JUDGMENT SEAT OF CHRIST: GOD REWARDS THE FAITHFUL!
1 Corinthians 3:10-15 - According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise master-builder, I have laid the foundation, and another builds thereon. But let every man take heed how he builds thereupon. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abides (withstands the fire) which he has built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by (even through) fire.
SO, I BEG YOU TO ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR LORD,
AND TO SPEND THE REMAINDER OF YOUR LIFE
FAITHFULLY TELLING OTHERS ABOUT HIM!
